Quick peek at the Quiz company in India

Of course quizzing in India is pretty popular and has been slowly and steadily developed a flavor of its own. Let us not deny quiz conduction in India is pretty different from American and British quizzing in that it is diverse, especially with different genres catering to different geographical regions and age groups, interests and even beyond. However the quizzing scenario in India started changing as big names such as Siddharth Basu, Derek O Brien and last but not the least the Gautam bose quiz started playing their significant role in making quiz shows a big hit.

The history of Quiz company in India reveals the fact that Neil O'Brien was an early pioneer of quizzing in India. O'Brien conducted the first well-organized, formal quiz in 1967. O'Brien, who had been exposed to the Pub quiz culture there, brought quizzing first to the Anglo-Indian community before it became popular among a wider audience. That was just the beginning and ten there as hardly any looking back for the quiz masters and their quizzing shows. O'Brien remained active in quizzing and hosted several popular quiz show broadcasts, including the North Star Quiz. Bournvita Quiz Contest became the first quiz show to be broadcast on Indian television. On the other hand it was around this time Quiz Company in India started to make their incredible presence felt.

As a matter of fact; Quizmaster Siddhartha Basu, who was hailed as the grandfather of the quiz game in India is credited with making quizzing a household world. Basu later went on to host other shows, including India Quiz. And later in the year 2000 the Kaun Banega Crorepati quiz, modeled after the famous show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, reignited the nationwide interest in quizzing. Yes, the tradition is still in place and now the torch is being carried forward by Gautam bose Greycells, the leading name in conducting quiz shows.

Take a cue from the Quizmasters in India shows if you are serious about transforming the venue into “Brand X Live” using any variety of creative measures. Guess what; nowadays the companies that have been searching for fresh, unique and highly customizable ways to engage “offline” with their audiences, it’s time to turn to Gautam bose Greycells!
